60,000 people have been left victims of torrential rains over the weekend around the port of Turbo, northern Antioquia.
Health organizations informed that some 60,000 people have been affected by the rains and at least one person has been reported as missing.
The rains began on Saturday and lasted until Sunday morning causing the river Turbo and various tributaries to burst their banks.
According to the Antioquia disaster prevention office, the rivers flooded 13 neighbourhoods in Turbo as well as some 20 hamlets and farmhouses across the surrounding area.
