The FIFA Under-20 World Cup closed in style with a spectacular show including lights, music, and pyrotechnics.

Colombian media reported that the dazzling finale, which cost $2.4 million, used 15 tons of equipment to light up El Campin stadium with more than 7 million watts of electricity. The 20-minute performance concluded more than four months of preparation from 450 dancers, musicians, acrobats, and artists.

Latin Grammy award-winning Colombian group ChocQuibTown performed in the last part of the event, to the delight of the 42,000 attendees at the sold out stadium.

The show, entitled “Za,” was themed around the indigenous Muisca people who were the first inhabitants of what is now Bogota. The choreographed performance symbolized indigenous story about the act of love between the sun god and the moon goddess, which fertilized the earth.
