UFO visits town on Colombia’s Caribbean

by Alice Boyd October 14, 2011
2.8K

An unidentified flying object has been sighted regularly over a small town on Colombia’s Caribbean coast, frightening residents and wreaking havoc on television sets, according to UFO Digest.

According to the report, a light moving at dazzling speed has been appearing in the sky at least five or six times a week, almost always at 7PM, over the small coastal town of Pasacaballos, in the north Colombian department of Bolivar.

UFO Digest suspect the light of being some kind of supernatural force, due to the fact that TV reception in the town is apparently being affected at the time of the mysterious light’s arrival.

The strange, supernatural phenomenon began over a month ago in late August and the ongoing nature of the event has been “causing bewilderment even among UFO skeptics,” according to the folks at UFO Digest.

The alleged UFO has apparently been exhibiting hyper-intelligent capabilities, such as hiding itself from other flying objects and moving at dazzling speeds.

According to one of the UFO sighters, Estefanio Arevalo Villalobos, “it remains still in the sky and vanishes shortly after, returning some fifteen minutes later. When an airplane goes by, it hides itself and returns once the airplane has gone.”

The unidentified light source has allegedly been wreaking havoc with the 7PM television slot, by causing what Villalobos calls “a drop in voltage” with television sets.

The source of the mysterious light in the sky is yet to be determined.
