Three military dead, fifteen wounded in attack

An attack with explosives on a military checkpoint killed three and injured fifteen soldiers in the south east of Colombia, Caracol Radio reported Sunday.

The attack took place in La Momposina in the department of Guaviare, an area full of guerrillas of the FARC and paramilitary forces.

Two men on a motorcycle passing the military checkpoint allegedly the explosive that led to the devastation of the military post, the army says. It attributes the attack to the FARC.
