Shakira has world’s sexiest curves: Victoria’s Secret

by Charlie de Rivaz September 13, 2013

Shakira has won the award for ‘sexiest curves’ in this year’s Victoria’s Secret awards.

The Colombian singer on Wednesday reacted to the prize by tweeting “I’m so happy!”

Victoria’s Secret, the most famous lingerie-makers in the world, gave out awards for every conceivable part of the female body, including sexiest smile, legs, lips, hair, eyes, sexiest bikini body, and even sexiest mom.

They also included an award for sexiest sense of humor, which went to Oscar-winner Jennifer Lawrence.

Shakira could not accept the prize in person, probably because it was her father’s birthday the Friday before. He turned 82.

The Barranquilla-born popstar is expected to release her eighth studio album towards the end of 2013, after a two-year break from recording. During this time she had a child, Milan, with Barcelona football star Gerard Pique.

Apart from being the most famous Latin American popstar, Shakira is also a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador and founder of the Pies Descalzos Foundation, an organization which hopes to lift Colombia’s most vulnerable children out of extreme poverty. They are currently constructing a school for impoverished children in the Caribbean town of Cartagena.
