Shakira was awarded with three Billboard Latin Music Awards at the 24th annual Billboard Latin Music Conference and Awards in Miami, on Thursday evening.
The Colombian pop star, who did not attend the ceremony in Miami in person, earned the awards for “Social Artist of the Year,” “Female Artist of the Year,” and “Latin Pop Artist of the Year.”
In addition, Colombian singer Carlos Vives took part in the three hour show with a performance of his new song “Como Le Gusta a Tu Cuerpo”, a duet with the Brazilian Michel Telo.
