Shakira announced that a new album is in the works Monday.
“Today I start working on my new album in English,” said the Colombian sweetheart on her Twitter account.
Media reports claim that Shakira will be collaborating with the famous DJ Afrojack and the producer RedOne, who works with artists like Lady Gaga and Madonna, to fill the new album with electronic mixes.
The Colombian pop star’s last album “Rising Sun” was released in October of 2010.
