Colombian superstar Shakira has unveiled a dramatic new look.
The singing sensation, whose cascade of golden hair has been a signature look for years, chose the modern-day celebrity’s favorite medium of Twitter to reveal her startling image change to the world.
The pop princess took a photo of herself sporting a choppy chin-length bob with sweeping bangs and published it online, accompanied by the exclamation, “Four hours ago I got my hair cut!!”
Her adoring fans were quick to shower her with compliments. “You look very pretty” and “You remain absolutely fantastic,” were some of the tweeted responses.
It’s not just dramatic new looks keeping Shakira busy. The Barranquilla-born beauty has recently released a greatest hits album and DVD, and opened her heart in a feature-length interview program Here and Now. The chart-topper talked of her musical roots, her desire to be a mother and her newfound love with Barca soccer player Pique.
