Famed Colombian songstress Shakira praised her home country’s efforts in the 2012 London Olympics, via Twitter Monday.
The Barranquilla native tweeted to her fans, “Two silver medals for #Colombia so far! Let’s go for more! Shak,” referencing the silver medals won by Colombian cyclist Rigoberto Uran and weightlifter Oscar Figueroa.
Shakira has a following of over 17,500,000 on one of social media’s largest networks and continues to gain more loyalists daily.
