Colombia pop star Shakira on Wednesday confirmed rumors she is expecting a baby of Spanish soccer player Gerard Pique.
In a message on her facebook page, the Colombian singer wrote:
As some of you may know, Gerard and I are very happy
awaiting the arrival of our first baby! At this time we
have decided to give priority to this unique moment in
our lives and postpone all the promotional activities
planned over the next few days.
Media had been speculating about Shakira’s pregnancy for months, but the singer and her beau until Wednesday refused to confirm the rumors.
