The prostitute at the center of the Secret Service sex scandal has confirmed being in talks to appear in pornographic magazine Playboy, reported RCN Radio Monday.

Dania Suarez, who last week appeared in Colombian media to give her account of the incident and has since agreed to provide her story to US network NBC, has claimed through her lawyer to have received an offer from the magazine, apparently confirming rumors which began to circulate a week ago.

Abellardo de la Espriella said, “We have an offer from Playboy but not yet closed negotiations.”

However Playboy owner Hugh Hefner last week refuted the claims, writing on Twitter, “Playboy has expressed no interest in photos of the Columbian [sic] hooker involved in the Secret Service scandal.”

The scandal broke last month when 20 US security personnel, including members of the US Secret Service, were revealed to have hired 21 prostitutes in the Caribbean coastal city of Cartagena, juat days before US President Barack Obama’s arrival and the opening of the Sixth Summit of the Americas. The scandal overshadowed the event and dominated news services around the world.
