Bogotá seems to attract mammoth-like rock bands like ‘pupu’ attracts
flies. After the remarkable Iron Maiden gig and the announcement
shortly after that Kiss is coming, Motörhead now has confirmed to play the
Colombian capital too.
Lemmy and his crew will be playing Bogotá’s El Campín stadium on April 21 and April 22. It’s the first time that the men responsible for one of the most legendary versions of garagerock classic Louie Louie and their own classic Ace of Spades are playing in Colombia.
The Bogotá gigs are part of the rockers’ Motorized World Tour, which also brings them to other Latin American cities like Buenos Aires in Argentina and Brazilian cities São Paulo, Recife, Fortaleza and Curitiba.
