Police seize 4 tons marijuana

Colombia’s national police on Tuesday seized over four tons of marijuana from a truck in the southern Valle del Cauca department, and arrested the driver.

The operation was carried out in the rural area of Palmira and the government says that the marijuana was transported in a truck “fitted with computer systems to avoid being controlled by authorities,” according to newspaper El Pais.
