Colombian police announce the arrest of 13 people in operations in the north Colombian Atlantico department.
Five were detained for arms trafficking, two for domestic violence, two for drug trafficking, and one had a warrant out against him.
As a result of the operation, five firearms were seized along with 116 grams of marijuana, 15 grams of crack cocaine and 60 grams of cocaine base.
Operations of this kind will continue throughout the department to ensure the safety and security of its inhabitants, the police said.
