Playboy Colombia relaunches

Colombia news - Playboy Colombia

Though Playboy Colombia has been on sale a year already, management decided to relaunch the legendary magazine in order to promote a fresh image.

The director of the publication, Margarita Henao informed newspaper El Espectador that Thursday’s relaunch is intended to change public perception of the magazine. “We want people to understand that Playboy is not a porn magazine and our content resembles that of SoHo and Don Juan,” claimed Henao.

“Though our content is aimed at men, not everything is focused on sex. If we do publish an article on that theme, it will be based on scientific research and not simply a manual on how to do it,” explained Henao.

The first edition, which goes on sale on September 24, will feature three nudes, both Colombian and foreign, as well as an article on the soccer team America de Cali. The ’20 Questions’ page will be devoted to actor Mickey Rouke and highlights will include an article about the 40th anniversary of Woodstock.

The cover girl for September’s edition will be sexy colombian model and actress Valentina Lizcano.
