Petrobras and General Electric eye Colombia refinery

Brazil’s state-run energy
company Petrobras
and General Electric Co. are interested in taking part in a $3 billion refinery
upgrade project in Colombia, the country’s trade and industry
minister said on Friday.

Swiss-based commodities giant Glencore is negotiating the
sale of its 51-percent stake
in the project due to financing
problems, the government said earlier this week. (Reuters)
