Bogotá Police captured Carlos Arturo Baquero alias ‘El Gordo’, the supposed leader of a dangerous criminal gang.
‘El Gordo’ had seven arrest warrants waiting for him for various crimes such as murder, kidnapping, theft and illegal transportation of firearms, El Espectador reported Thursday.
He is not only said to be powerful and influential in Bogota’s underworld, but in a number other Colombian cities too.
One of ‘El Gordo’s sons was captured three months ago and is currently serving a 25-year sentence for similar crimes as his dad is suspected of.
