Evil spirits have captured the soul of a newborn baby in Colombia’s north, according to its own frightened mother.
Ana Feria Santos gave birth less than a month ago in the town of Lorica, Cordoba department, near the Caribbean coast. Her joy quickly turned to fear as she noticed several abnormalities with her baby.
Santos claimed the child, who is less than 30 days old, can already walk and frequently hides around the house. Favorite hiding places allegedly include suitcases, the washing machine and the refrigerator. If true, the feat would be remarkable given that most children begin to walk at 9 months at the earliest.
The concerned mother has also asserted that the youngster cackles with endless laughter and has an intimidating pair of eyes.
Santos and her taxi-driving husband already take care of four other children, yet none of the others have displayed any of the aforementioned creepy symptoms.
Doctors have not confirmed if the child suffers from any particular condition, however locals are reportedly convinced evil spirits are to blame and are praying for the family.
