No agreement between government and indigenous

Colombian ministers and Indigenous leaders were not able to reach an
agreement, despite a government offer to buy land for the indigenous to
compensate land that was stolen from the natives by paramilitaries
before.

The return of land was only one of the indigenous demands. The native Colombians demand better healthcare, education and protection from paramilitary groups that have been targetting their communities.

It is not certain why the government have no agreement and if the indigenous will uphold the suspension of protests. The ministers, before meeting with indigenous leaders had already said the government would allow now more disturbance of the public order.
