Heilly Massiel Martinez won the crown of Miss Cali 2011 and sets her goals for Miss Colombia and, eventually, Miss Universe.
“I’m here because I saw this goal and I was sure I could get it,” says the new Miss.
Martinez told El Pais that she prepared for the competition in a short two months by taking classes, going to the gym and reading up on local and global news.
The Miss says that current Miss Colombia and fellow-caleña Catalina Robayo is her example because she gained the title “without many expectations,” and not many people knew “who she was and now she is Miss Colombia.”
