Barcelona soccer star and soon-to-be Shakira’s baby’s daddy, Gerard Pique, said his son will become a card-carrying member of FC Barcelona as soon as he is born.
Following in his father’s footsteps, the yet to be named baby boy will have an FC Barcelona membership card waiting for him. Talking to local media, Pique said the card issuance is just following a family tradition. Pique’s grandfather was a member of the board of Barcelona and Pique has worn the badge for 25 proud years.
In the brief interview, the soccer star discussed a number of things including how married life with Colombia’s pop sensation has changed him.
“I think love changes you. It’s a very important part of your life and [makes] you see things differently. When you’re alone, you concentrate a lot [on] football and your friends. Now it’s your partner and there’s also a baby on the way, so that [changes things] and we must adapt. But I think what’s happening to me now is nice,” said Pique.
