A Venezuelan woman in the north Colombian Sucre department killed her two children and herself, local media reported on Thursday.
A four-year old child died in a local hospital Friday, one day after his younger sister and mother had died of the poison the woman had given to her children and herself.
The tragedy took place in the village of Toluviejo where the Venezuelan Maria Bossa lived with her husband. According to the Police, the mother poisoned her chidlren and then herself after the man refused to allow her to take the children to the mother’s home country.
The mother and her two-year old daughter died on Wednesday already before they could be taken to a hospital. The boy died in the hospital on Thursday.
