Colombian model Melissa Giraldo is in a bit of a pickle after finding out she has been cast as the leading lady for a new movie “Lost in Acapulco,” just two months after accepting her new gig as host of Caracol entertainment news.
Gossip site “Sweet” has claimed that the beautiful host received a call from the director of the new Colombo-Mexican film this week with the good news. If she accepts the offer she will have to spend a few months in the resort town of Acapulco, Mexico.
Giraldo is seemingly unsure what to do, however, and apparently has not yet informed her boss at Caracol of her possible departure from the hosting gig.
Although Giraldo has not said yes or no, the promise of a huge pay check could swing her decision Mexico’s way.
In an interview last week, the Medellin-born beauty said she would consider studying acting further down the track. “Many people tell me I’m a good actress. Soon I would like to study acting to learn how to use physical expression better, but I don’t think I would devote myself just to this”.
