Colombia News - Carolina Cruz

Colombia shoe model Carolina Cruz has 198,981 followers on social networking site Twitter, more than President Juan Manuel Santos who only has 194,586 followers.

She had just over 197,000 when she first signed up, according to magazine Cosmos, and now just look at the stratospheric level to which her number of followers has rocketed. Cosmic!

No other Colombian model has as many followers as she does. Not Andrea Serna with 170,000, not Jessica Cediel who has 149,000 and must have some juicy titbits from her realationship with toyboy Pipe Bueno, and not poor Natalia Paris who only has 3,338 fans who want to know her every move.

Caro’s fans will be able to see the model in the pixelated flesh. Cruz set up a Twitcam conference call with all her followers.

The last time Carolina Cruz tried to do a Twitcam, 4,000 people logged on and the service collapsed. This happened throughout Colombia and even in Colombian enclaves in the U.S.

She has 18 fan groups in Colombia and one in Miami. She likes to tweet DLB meaning GB or God bless. And she likes to send “kisses to everybody.”

She is one of the 16 most popular tweeters in Colombia. Riveting!
