Miss Valle used to be the ugliest of ducklings

by Adriaan Alsema March 7, 2012

Melina Ramirez

Melina Ramirez, the reigning Miss Valle who was close to winning Miss Colombia last year, releases photos of her childhood showing that she wasn’t always the stunner she is now.

The beauty queen, who is now preparing to compete for the title of Miss Top Model of the World, showed Cali newspaper El Pais photos from her childhood.

The department of Valle del Cauca will begin looking for other ugly-ducklings-turned-babes from March 15 on to succeed Ramirez and represent the department at the Miss Colombia contest in November.
