Miss Canada, Mariana Valente, gets the finishing touch for the Miss
Universe contest, which will be held on the Bahamas in August, in
Colombia.
The model inspired the Colombian Jose Alexander Rojas who will design her dress for the contest.
Valente is proud to get ready in Colombia, she told Canal RCN.
This is not the first time that she has worked with Colombians since her former manager was the Colombian dentist Jose Luis Pulido Martinez.
Miss Canada was born in Brazil but she moved to the northern country at the age of twelve. Although Valente was always interested in beauty, it was her sister who enrolled her for the Miss Universe contest.
