Jota Mario calls Jessica Cediel ‘plastic butt’ on morning TV

Veteran Colombian television presenter Jota Mario has gone too far, referring to his former co-host Jessica Cediel as “the best plastic butt” on live television Friday morning, reports gossip site La Fiscalia.

This is not the first time the RCN presenter has mocked poor Cediel on Colombia’s stupidest TV show “Muy Buenos Dias” since she left it last March — when a viewer named Jessica called recently, Mario inquired if she too had a plastic butt.

The jokes of course refer to Jessica’s botched butt implants, which made headlines last year when the star had to go public and admit she had tried adding to her award-winning behind.

As is fast becoming her trademark when anyone slights her (including forgetting to invite her to a party), Cediel hit back over the weekend on her Twitter account. The beauty vented; “You can’t ask for respect from someone who doesn’t know the meaning of the word, and who doesn’t have a heart!”, adding “This just lets us know who this ‘personality’ really is!!”

A strong attack on one of the mainstays of Colombia’s Canal RCN television station — particularly given Cediel’s precarious position in the television world since leaving the show last year.

But it seemed to do the trick, as on Monday morning’s show Mario, though he avoided naming names, apologized for a joke that may have annoyed someone — quickly followed by the excuse that it was very difficult to come up with material for a four-hour daily show.

Seems no matter what side you’re on, it’s a tough life being a Colombian television show host.
