With only a few days into the festival, local media claim the annual Manizales Fair is a huge success to natives and tourists alike.

The fair that began Monday centers around the odd yet equally interesting mix of bullfighting and coffee. The event is recognized as a cultural heritage in Colombia.
As well as the controversial bullfighting events, the fair also incorporates handcraft exhibitions, street shows, parades, fireworks and the country’s second most important beauty pageant, the International Coffee Pageant which is scheduled to elect a new coffee queen on Wednesday.
The fair will last until Sunday.
