Liberal member of parliament Cecilia Lopez Montano states that the minister lied when he said there had been no studies of the quality of the Carimagua land. The senator was able to produce several studies about the subject. “It was dispossession of land of the displaced,” Lopez said.The minister faces a motion of censorship, which will make him unable to exercise his job as minister. The minister’s ruling Conservative Party has already spoken against such a motion.
