Colombia’s popular solo music stars Juanes and Fonseca receive nominations for the 2012 Grammy music awards.
Medellin-born Juanes, who won Album of the Year at the Latin Grammy awards a few weeks ago, is in the running for Best Latin Pop Album along with Bogatano Fonseca, who also won a Latin Grammy for his song “Illusion.”
Juanes’ Album titled “MTV Unplugged” and Fonseca’s “Illusion” will be up against other Latin music heavy weights in their category such as Ricardo Arjona and Romeo Santos.
The 55th annual Grammy awards will take place February 10 at the Staples Centre in Los Angeles.
