Canal RCN reports that Jesus appeared on a leaf Monday in the northernmost department of Colombia, provoking hundreds of believers to line up for a chance to see the supposed miracle.
Flocks of excited believers seeking blessings and solutions to a myriad of problems arrived in the humble La Loma neighborhood in the city of Riohacha after the appearance became known, the TV channel reported.
Heat or rain, day or night, the followers stayed in position, many lighting candles and others saying prayers.
Official recognition by the Catholic Church has not been made, but the owners of the special leaf assure that it will be recognized because there are so many witnesses to the image.
It was not reported when Jesus last appeared in Colombia.
