Colombian actress and writer Isabella Santo Domingo is moving to Los Angeles to make her mark on the Hollywood scene, reported website Cromos.com.co.
The 40-year-old Barranquilla beauty, famous for her best selling book “Gentlemen Prefer Them Stupid,” will be traveling to the United States to start a business with actress Paola Turbay, which aims to sell story ideas to U.S. television shows.
This follows the recent successful adaptation of the Santo Domingo’s popular novel into a prime-time sitcom, a process that she took a great interest in.
Now the actress and writer is heading to the L.A. to see what more she can learn about the business.
It wont be her first time in the country – she spent two years in California doing a writing course some years ago.
Santo says that “There [in the U.S.] you have everything to learn and this motivates my life.”
