Police have arrested a mother in the central department of Meta for prositituting her two children, Caracol Radio reported Monday.
Police began the investigation after the father of the children, aged 11 and 13, filed a complaint with authorities that his wife was prositituting their children to various men around the department.
The girls’ mother is accused of accepting money for services provided by her daughters. In many cases, the mother was reportedly witness to these vicious acts in order to encourage their cooperation.
The children have allegedly been subjected to sexual and physical abuse since they were two years old.
