Important leader of ‘Los Rastrojos’ captured

Colombian Police captured Friday “El Torero”, an allegedly important
leader of the paramilitary group “Los Rastrojos”, who is held
responsible for the gang’s drug trafficking to the Pacific coast.

The Police arrested “El Torero” in Cali together with four of his escorts.  The criminal traveled with false documents.

According to El Espectador, “El Torero” is the fifth head of “Los Rastrojos”.

Two other members of the paramilitary group, were arrested in Tumaco, Nariño department. The Police identified the criminals as Jose Marino Sanchez Aguirre alias “Arley” and Jose Antonio Serpa Ospina alias “Andrade”.

‘Los Rastrojos’ are active mostly in the south west of Colombia.
