The International Criminal Court asked Colombian judicial authorities to provide information on 48 criminal cases that remain unresolved after several years.
A report by the ICJ outlines numerous cases that hang in limbo, such as the forced displacement of 775 farmers on September 11 in 2003 in San Roque, Antioquia, Caracol Radio reported Wednesday.
The ICJ also requested information on kidnappings such as that of former Cali Secretary of Housing Francisco José Lamus Barrios, who was kidnapped from his farm by the FARC on April 6 2003.
The Prosecutor General was asked to provide information on 33 murders committed between 2003 and 2005 that have not been dealt with by the Colombian justice system, according to Radio Caracol.
