Hooligans clash: one dead

One fan of Medellin-based soccer side Atletico Nacional died and two were injured in a violent clash with fans of Independiente Medellin Sunday.

The violence took place on a highway in Caldas, a department south of Antioquia, of which Medellin is the capital.

According to local police, Nacional fans from Caldas, on their way home after Saturday’s game, were spotted by Medellin fans who were on their way home from Cali, where the team had played against America.
