Thousands of people flocked to a neighborhood in the eastern Colombian town of Bucaramanga where an image of the Holy Virgin appeared on a palm tree.
According to national news broadcaster RCN, thousands of religious people, and those who are just curious, are making the journey hoping to catch a glimpse of the image. Many sick worshippers have come in hope of a miracle cure.
The owners of the house where the unique palm tree stands were forced to call in the authorities to deal with the crowds.
The local church has organized special prayer tours.
