Government offers court workers 4 percent

The Colombian government offered a four percent increase in wages for
court workers and a two percent increase for judges in her latest bid to
stop the judicial strike that’s paralyzed Colombian justice for nearly
a month.

The increase will be gradually take effect. The wages will be at the promised level in two years, the government announced Monday, one day before Colombian unions say they will hold massive demonstartions across the country.
