Galeras volcano erupts again

Authorities raised the level of alert in south west Colombia department
of Nariño to red Friday after the Galeras volcano erupted for the third
time in only a few months.

According to the country’s seismological institute, the vulcano explosively erupted five minutes to 4PM.

Thursday evening activity inside the volcano made the authorities up the alert leven from yello to orange.

There are no reports of avalanches and/or injuries.
