Food prices to rise further

The inflation is a consequence of a reduced foodsupply to the country and the high international prices of agricultural products which the country imports, not only for consumption but also for use as raw materials in the manufacture of goods.Finance minister Oscar Ivan Zuluaga revealed that the government is considering lowering tariffs on certain products, particularly food, in order to reduce its imports and increase its offer.
