Colombia’s police captured the alleged chief of finances of the paramilitary group “Los Rastrojos”, local media reported Monday.
The authorities arrested Jhon Alexander Capere alias “El Elegido” in Medellin. “El Elegido” worked as a taxi driver in the Magdalena Medio area, North Central Colombia.
The captured paramilitary had a valid arrest warrant on charges of conspiracy to commit a crime, El Tiempo reported.
‘Los Rastrojos’ are active mostly in the south west of Colombia.
