FARC guerrilla captured in Bogota

Bogota police claim they captured a FARC guerrilla in the capital early Friday morning.

El Espectador reported that Luis Alberto ‘Leonardo’ Tovar was captured in a police raid in the suburb of La Riviera.

‘Leonardo’ had been working with the FARC for 25 years. He was one of the guerrillas who guarded hostages who were freed by the army in ‘Operation Checkmate’.
