FARC cocaine ‘laboratory’ destroyed in western Colombia

A camp and cocaine manufacturing “laboratory” was found and destroyed in western Colombia on Monday, local media reported.

The camp was discovered and dismantled by a task force from the Colombian army in Pichincha, within the western state of Cauca.

The camp has been attributed to the guerrilla group the FARC’s “ Miller Perdomo” mobile column and had the capacity to sleep 12 people and produce 500 kilos of cocaine a week, according to El Pais newspaper.
