‘FARC’ bomb kills 3 Colombian soldiers near Ecuador border

Three Colombian soldiers have been killed and another three were injured by a roadside bomb near the Ecuadorean border, the army announced Thursday.

According to the army, the bomb went off when an army patrol was traveling a road between the border town of Ipiales and the Putumayo department.

The Colombian armed forces reportedly have been carrying out military offensives against a local FARC unit for over a week.
