Colombian superstar Radamel Falcao and his Atletico Madrid teammates arrived in Medellin Tuesday morning in preparation for the friendly match against Nacional Medellin, local media reported.
Although Falcao traveled with the team it is not sure yet whether he will take the pitch. According to Spanish media reports, the Colombian striker suffers from a hamstring injury and may not be permitted to play.
The Atletico-Nacional match will take place August 1 at the Atanasio Girardot Stadium in Medellin’s western sector.
The Medellin game is part of a South American tour for the Madrid team which will end in Costa Rica’s capital, San Jose, on August 4.
