Colombian soccer star Radamel Falcao was named one of the best players in this year’s Europa League Tuesday.
More than 50 sports journalists represting member-countries of European soccer federation UEFA voted for the ten best soccer players in the European league with Falcao being named the eighth best player.
The Atletico Madrid striker shared his spot with Czech Petr Cech who received the same amount of votes as Falcao.
Last year, Falcao received an award for his record breaking season where he scored 17 goals for Porto in one season.
