According to Bogotá ‘Macaco’s extradition is a direct result of his unwillingness to cooperate.The victims and families of victims of the paramilitary violence, of which ‘Macaco’ is suspected, want the former chief of the Central Bolivar Bloc not only to be trialed for drugs related crimes, but also for the crimes against humanity he is suspected of.The Court will rule within a week, whether the extradition at this point is legitimate. The Colombian government says it has everything set up for an immediate extradition.
