Colombian porn star Esperanza Gomez told El Espacio that a 48-year-old family friend raped her at home when she was a teenager.
After telling the paper that she lost her virginity aged 15, the actress went on to describe the experience “It was not pleasant or pretty because it was sexual abuse. It was rape.”
The porn star said she did not tell her parents for fear of her father’s “implacable” temper, and that subsequent relationships with men suffered due to her lack of trust.
When pressed about the fate of her attacker, Gomez replied that an accident a short while after the incident had left him paraplegic; “life charged him for his sins” she said.
Gomez insisted her decision to enter the porn industry had nothing to so with the sexual abuse she suffered as a teenager. She said her first interest in the profession was sparked at just 13 years old, after finding erotic magazines in her brother’s bedroom.
29-year-old Gomez, who describes herself as naturally shy, made her North American debut in South Beach Cruisin’ 3 last year. She is from Belalcazar, in the Caldas department.
