Colombia’s prison authority says it foiled an attempt to escape of
suspected drug trafficker Miguel Angel ‘the Twin’ Mejía Munera.
According to INPEC, the alleged drug lord’s lawyer Teresa Moya Suta was caught with a master key to open handcuffs in one of her shoes.
The Twin is suspected to have run the drug trade in teh north of Colombia until his brother was killed and he was arrested two days later in May 2008.
