21-year-old Pereira model Eliana Gutierrez was recently named Colombia’s candidate for Model of the World at the Summer Festival of Gaitan, held in Meta, and will now head to London to compete for the title Model of the World.
According to reports by Cromos, Gutierrez will spend a free weekend in Meta as a prize for winning the competition.
In London, Gutierrez will take English classes, work on her runway presentation and represent the country of Colombia in the next stage of the competition the search for the next Top Model of the World.
Gutierrez enjoys basketball and admires fashion icons such as Norma Nivea, Linda Evangelista, Karl Lagerfield, and Hernan Zahar.
Gutierrez, a native of Pereira, began her modeling career at age 15 and hopes she will be able to convey a different look to the world.
